Important Notes
- Undergraduate Degree Transfer credit applications can be submitted two weeks prior to the semester start date and no later than the 10th day of classes.
- Courses approved and dropped from your timetable may impact your status as a full-time student, which may impact fee calculation and eligibility for OSAP, scholarships, bursaries, and student health plans.
- Denied transfer credits are not subject to appeals; however, students will be provided with the reason why their request was denied.
- A non-refundable $25 administrative fee is charged per transfer credit, up to a $100 maximum.
- Degree program electives are not eligible for Undergraduate Degree Transfer Credits. Each course must undergo individual assessment through our standard transfer credit process.

Undergraduate Degree Transfer Credit Eligibility Requirements
- Studies must have been completed within the past 10 years from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
- 60% or C- average is required for approval.
- International undergraduate degrees may be eligible depending on international credential evaluation (ICAS, WES or equivalent) and language of instruction.
Transfer Credit Application Period for the 2023-2024 Academic Year
- Fall 2024: August 19, 2024 - September 17, 2024
- Winter 2025: December 9, 2024 - January 17, 2025
- Spring/Summer 2025: April 14, 2025 - May 16, 2025
Ready to Apply? Follow These Steps
- Ensure you meet eligibility criteria. Please note this application is only for those that have completed a three- or four-year degree.
- You will need to provide all supporting documents at the time of your application or you could be asked to resubmit. Do not apply if you do not have all your documentation ready.
- Official Transcripts – Unofficial transcripts will NOT be accepted.
- Application communication will be sent to your student email account.
- Pay the applicable fee once advised.
The application must be filled out completely and accurately or it will be automatically denied. Processing time for transfer credit applications is approximately 2-4 weeks. Please remain enrolled in requested transfer course until a decision has been made, if approved, the course will be dropped from your academic enrollment.
