Convocation ceremonies for students graduating from St. Lawrence College’s Brockville campus will be held in person at the College on Friday, June 10. Two ceremonies will be held at 10:00am and 1:30pm.

The 10:00am ceremony will be held for students graduating from programs in the School of Allied Health and School of Nursing. The Valedictorian for the 10:00am ceremony is Robyn Phillips, who will graduate from the Practical Nursing program.

The 1:30pm ceremony will be held for students graduating from programs in the Schools of Arts, Media and Design, Business, Community Services, Interdisciplinary Studies and Pathways, and Skilled Trades, as well the School of Online and Continuing Education and the Centre for Corporate Learning and Performance Improvement. The Valedictorian for the 1:30pm ceremony is Tanya Trombetta, who will graduate from the Pre-Health Sciences Pathways to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees program.

A livestream of the Convocation ceremonies will be available online at www.stlawrencecollege.ca/convocation.

Convocation 2022 will see graduates from the government-funded Personal Support Worker accelerated (PSW-A) program cross the stage for the first time. The PSW-A program, which began intakes in early 2021, is a free accelerated 6-month program with no tuition fees and offers funding support and a paid work placement. SLC is offering intakes of the PSW-A program this summer - interested individuals may be eligible to start the program on June 20 in Brockville, July 18 in Cornwall, or August 15 in Kingston.
