St. Lawrence College in Cornwall holds Convocation ceremonies​

Convocation ceremonies for 520 students graduating from St. Lawrence College’s Cornwall campus will be held at Aultsville Theatre on Friday, May 31. Three ceremonies will be held at 10:00am, 1:30pm, and 4:30pm. At the 4:30pm ceremony, St. Lawrence College will award an Honorary Diploma to Guy Lauzon, Member of Parliament for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry.

WHAT: St. Lawrence College Cornwall Campus Convocation Ceremonies

The 10:00am ceremony will be held for students graduating from programs in the Schools of Baccalaureate Nursing and Health Sciences. The Valedictorian for the 10:00am ceremony is Victoria Ena Rae Arnett, who will graduate from the Personal Support Worker program.

The 1:30pm ceremony will be held for students graduating from programs in the Schools of Applied Science and Computing, Skilled Trades/Apprenticeship, Online and Continuing Education, the Centre for Corporate Learning and Performance Improvement, as well as from Iohahi:io Akwesasne. The Valedictorian for the 1:30pm ceremony is Cody Bourget, who will graduate from the Environmental Technician program.

The 4:30pm ceremony will be held for students graduating from programs in the Schools of Business, Community Services, and Justice Studies and Applied Arts. The Valedictorian for the 4:30pm ceremony is Ashleigh Cummings, who will graduate from the Social Service Worker program. At the 4:30pm ceremony, St. Lawrence College will award an Honorary Diploma to Guy Lauzon, Member of Parliament for Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry (formal media release regarding Honorary Diploma recipient to follow on Thursday, May 30).

The Governor General’s Academic Medal will be presented at the 4:30pm ceremony to recipient Emily Alyssa Winters, who will graduate from the Business Administration – Accounting program in Cornwall. The Governor General’s Academic Medal recognizes one graduate, across the College’s three campuses, who has achieved the highest grade point average in any diploma program in a reasonable time.
