St. Lawrence College in Kingston to Hold In-Person Convocation Ceremonies and Award Two Honorary Diplomas

Convocation ceremonies for students graduating from St. Lawrence College’s Kingston campus will be held in person at the Leon’s Centre on Thursday, June 16 at 6 pm and Friday, June 17 at 10 am and 3 pm.

The Thursday ceremony will be held for students graduating from programs in the School of Business and Community Services. The Valedictorian is Johnryl Chu, who will graduate from the Health Care Administration program.

At the ceremony on Friday morning at 10 am students will graduate from programs in the Schools of Allied Health, Arts, Media and Design, Interdisciplinary Studies and Pathways, and Nursing. The Valedictorian is Jorden Isbell, who will graduate from Community Integration through Co-operative Education. The 3 pm ceremony will be held for students graduating from Applied Science and Computing and Skilled Trades. The Valedictorian is Parmeet Singh Thind, who will graduate from the Computer Systems Technician program.

Two Honorary Diplomas will also be awarded at the Kingston convocations. On Thursday evening, the recipient is Linda Ann Daly, a longtime community advocate, supporter, and philanthropist. On Friday morning at 10 am, the recipient will be Christine Bruce, Senior Director, Laboratory Medicine Program, University Health Network.
