Financial Supports Available
There are various financial supports that students may be eligible for, depending on students’ situation, timing within the academic year, etc. While St. Lawrence College does its best to assist students in need, there may be situations where funding opportunities may not be available. Below is a summary of options; please click on the corresponding links or contact the appropriate personnel for more information.
The Ontario Student Assistance Program is available to domestic students who reside in Ontario for at least 12 months prior to the start of their academic program. This is the first step we ask domestic students to take if they are seeking some financial support. OSAP applications typically open in the spring for the fall semester and can be accessed by visiting: https://www.ontario.ca/page/osap-ontario-student-assistance-program
For more information, please visit SLC’s OSAP webpage: OSAP
As part of the OSAP process, if students identify as possessing a functional limitation or permanent disability which can be verified by a regulated health professional, they may be eligible for equipment and services, to help assist them in their educational journey at SLC. To begin this process, students can reach out to their Accessibility Advisor or Counsellor, or contact accessibility@sl.on.ca.
