Business-Accounting

My time at SLC helped me grow not just as a Business-Accounting student, but as a leader with a purpose. Through academics, student government, and community service, I discovered how business and financial literacy can be powerful tools for creating meaningful change. I'm excited to take what I've learned here and support others in achieving their goals — just as this college supported me.

Mel Raymond

Paramedic

My experience at SLC has been some of the most positive years of my life. In a new city, at a new school, I was able to find community right away in the Paramedic program. I was also able to thrive in this environment because I participated in women’s athletics. SLC made it possible to do it all. Upon graduating, I plan to uphold the taste for life I found here and will encourage others to do so too. The smallest piece of support may be all someone needs to keep going.

“Coming to SLC as a mature international student from the Philippines, I never imagined I’d find a second home here. My journey was filled with uncertainty, but the support of my family, professors, classmates, and SAC gave me the confidence to grow, lead, and rediscover my love for learning. I’m proud to graduate as someone who now believes it’s never too late to start again.”
