Job Title: Student Employment On-Campus Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
Reports to the Talent Acquisition Advisor, and under the guidance of the designate, the student incumbent works up to 35-hours per week providing assistance in greeting and guiding customers, recording data, and performing other administrative related tasks to gain work experience while supporting the operations of the department. The successful incumbent demonstrates strong customer-service, interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and analytical skills, combined with an ability to work under pressure, and problem-solve while working independently.
The incumbent acts as liaison between students and tri-campus supervisors as well as assists the Talent Acquisition Advisor with the organization and execution of Student Employment projects. The incumbent will also assist with maintaining Student Employment data records on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to student and staff inquiries about the Student Employment on Campus program.

Regularly collect, maintain, compile, and analyze data related to Student Employment in order to accurately track a variety of metrics each semester.

Prepare and post approved student employment job opportunities to fill positions in a timely manner.

Guide hiring managers through the hiring process for student employees and assist where needed. (Organizing applicant information, running reference checks, providing new hire documentation)

Present Student Employee orientations throughout the year to new student employees.

Ensure that the Student Employment on Campus Program meets all program policies and requirements.

On occasion may be asked to perform other duties as assigned, such as special functions (i.e., orientation, open house, special projects, etc.)
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Other Required Qualifications:

Communication and interpersonal skills

Time management, strong organizational skills, and an attention to detail.

Ability to effectively work independently with instruction, or collaboratively as part of a team.

General knowledge of standard computer applications (MS word, Excel, Teams, & Email).

Familiarity with data organization and analysis.

High degree of integrity for maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.
Salary & Terms
- Start Rate: $17.20/hour, (plus 6% in lieu of vacation)
- Hours per week: 35.00

Terms of Employment:
- Must be currently enrolled in Full-Time studies at St. Lawrence College OR returning to Full-Time studies in the immediate upcoming semester.
- Must be in good academic standing for full duration of employment.
