At SLC, we offer a variety of programs and services designed to help you get started before classes even begin. Starting in August, you can register for all start-up programming on UR SLC.
UR SLC is your student engagement portal and your key to an awesome college experience outside the classroom! Here, you can register for events, request your SLC Student ID Card, complete checklists, earn Surge Rewards, and more! It's your one-stop shop for managing your college life efficiently and making the most of your time at SLC.
*Access to UR SLC will be granted automatically after the deposit deadline, or, if it's after that deadline, within 7 business days once your deposit is processed.
SLC.me is your comprehensive student portal where you can access essential academic and administrative information. Through SLC.me, you can view your fees, access Blackboard, check your schedule, find booklists, access your email, and much more. It's your go-to resource for everything related to your coursework and college administration.
All new international students will receive important communications approximately 8 weeks before the semester starts, sent to the email address provided on their application. These emails will include essential information about pre-departure sessions that you must attend. Make sure to check your inbox regularly to stay updated!

An on-campus event the week before Orientation Day.- Open to all new students, come and learn about our services, tips for success at SLC, and get comfortable with the campus before classes begin.
- International Welcome Days
An on-campus event the week before Orientation Day.- Mandatory for all new international students, this on-campus event will help you adjust to life in Canada. You'll learn about Canadian culture, expectations, and much more.
- SAIL to Success
An on-campus event the week before Orientation Day.- A half-day transition program focusing on self-advocacy, peer connections, and specialized services for students with disabilities.
