2022 Learning Connections Conference – What’s in a Theme?
Planning the annual Learning Connections Conference is much like creatively deciding what to cook for dinner. The core planning committee began the process in September 2021 by reflecting on feedback received from the previous year’s LCC participants, adding some consideration of the strategic priorities influencing our College at this time, meeting with the College Executive Team for their suggestions and, most importantly, mixing in the current needs and hopes of SLC employees. We blend these ingredients together and come up with a theme for the next year’s conference.
SLC's spring semester and COVID protocols
The end of winter semester is within sight and like everyone, I’m looking forward to spring with optimism and hope that you are too. I’m sure you’re all looking forward to the end of term, and this note contains pertinent information if you’re continuing with us for the spring semester. To align with the province’s approach, beginning May 1, we are ending campus COVID protocols.
Introducing the LCC 2022 Program Development Sub-Committee
We received an incredible amount of interest during our call for committee members and are pleased to share our full Planning Team. This year’s group is larger as we will be undertaking an exciting challenge in offering a hybrid format with virtual activities taking place on Day 1 (May 30) and onsite activities on Kingston campus taking place during Day 2 (May 31).
