Kingston Fibre Artists Exhibit in Brockville
The Marianne van Silfhout Gallery at St. Lawrence College is pleased to present the fall exhibit, Art Threads: Kingston Fibre Artists Favourite Techniques. The exhibition will be on view from September 30 – December 8, 2023. This curated exhibit features a selection of artwork by each of the 17 members of the KFA. Works on display showcase a variety of techniques in contemporary textile art making including needle and wet felting, hand and machine stitching or embroidery, photo-transfer, hand-dyed fabrics, collage, wire crochet, and art quilting.
St. Lawrence College Announces 2023 Premier’s Awards Nominees
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to introduce this year’s nominees for Colleges Ontario’s annual Premier’s Awards. The awards recognize outstanding contributions to society from graduates of Ontario colleges. Winners will be announced, and awards will be presented at a gala held in Toronto on November 27, 2023.  
New Chair of Board of Governors Appointed at St. Lawrence College
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Caffin as Chair of the Board of Governors for a one-year term which will begin on September 1, 2023. Julie was appointed to the SLC Board of Governors in September 2018 and currently serves as Vice-Chair. She succeeds Grand Chief Abram Benedict, whose time as Board Chair concluded in August as planned, after one year.

St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia Kerth as the interim Senior Vice-President, Corporate Services and CFO while a search is conducted for a new, permanent appointment in this leadership role.
St. Lawrence College unveils Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Legacy Space on the Kingston campus
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the unveiling of a Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Legacy Space on its Kingston campus on Monday, August 28.  SLC is the first post-secondary institution in Ontario to commit to creating Legacy Spaces through this program, and the first in the hometown of the late Gord Downie.
